The School contains two statues of Benjamin Franklin, the man who the school is named after. One was hand carved by a local artist in the 1970s, the other made of stone near the Franklin Bowl. The Franklin Bowl was once named the forth best place in Oregon to have a sports game. The wooden one has his cane stolen sometime around 2007 by vandals who broke into the school.
