Mohr and Gruber on an

Franz Xaver Gruber (17871863) was an Austrian primary school teacher and organist in the village of Oberndorf and then in Hallein, Salzburg. Together with Josef Mohr (original German lyrics), he composed the Christmas carol "Silent Night, Holy Night".
