Encyclopedia > Fraser River (Colorado)

The Fraser River is a tributary of the Colorado River, approximately 40 mi (64 km) long, in north central Colorado in the United States.


It rises in south eastern Grand County, on the north side of Berthond Pass at the continental divide in the Arapaho National Forest. It flows NNW past Winter Park, Fraser, and Tabernash, and joins the Colorado two miles west of Granby.
