The surname Bloggs or the full name Joe Bloggs is a commonly used example name, or metasyntactic variable, in United Kingdom teaching, programming, and other thinking and writing. A variant has the name as Fred Bloggs. See also Alice and Bob and John Doe.


Joe Bloggs (qv) is now a well-known design label.
