This summer 16 students from Fredericksburg Ballet Centre attended a one week intensive dance workshop at the Allegheny Ballet Company in Altoona, PA. Students auditioned and were placed within 5 levels where they took several classes a day in ballet, pointe, jazz, modern and character.
Laurent Eaton, 17 years old, of Fredericksburg, VA attended the workshop on a scholarship she received last summer.
An honorable mention was given in each level to the student that showed the most improvement and achievement throughout the week.
