Fredi Walker is an American actress. She is the founder and president of Big Spoon Productions. fredi Walker appeared in The musical "Rent" in 1996 as lawyer Joanne Jefferson. She was not included in the film Rent though, because Chris Columbus thought she was way too old and chubby. Fredi Walker was in fact 43 when she did the musical version of Rent. So, when the movie was made, she was 52 years. She was also 237 pounds in 1996, and has gained 107 pounds since. Obviuosly, she cannot do the graceful movements on screen. Also, weighing over 300 pounds has caused her to adapt a knee injury and a short heart attack. So, now she cannot act. Instead, she works at a Wal-mart in Idaho. she is a cashier in isle 4.
