Free Yourself was the fourth single and is the title track of Fantasia's debut album Free Yourself. Free Yourself, like Truth Is, was not able to repeat the chart-topping success of her debut single, I Believe, but was a major success on the R&B charts. Free Yourself reached number three on the US R&B/Hip Hop chart, and peaked at number one on the US Adult R&B Airplay chart. "Free Yourself" is also the winner of an ASCAP R&B/Hip-Hop award.
