| | Freehold Raceway Mall is a super-regional mall in Freehold, New Jersey, United States. The mall's anchor stores are J.C. Penney, Lord & Taylor, Macy's, Nordstrom and Sears. The mall is managed by The Macerich Company and has 1,594,888 square feet (148,170 m²) of gross leasable area,[1][2] making it the third largest of all shopping malls in New Jersey). Workers have also begun interior renovations. When finished, the mall will have new tile, lights, a paint job and new seating areas, among other amenities. Construction on the expansion started in January 2007 with the closing of the parking lots in front of the mall's two upper level main entrances (as well as the entrances), between Sears and JCPenney. Additionally, signs of an interior renovation were seen by January, 2007, with samples of new flooring installed in various places in the mall.
