Les verts (the Greens) is one Green Party of France.


In the 2002 presidential election, the Green Party candidate for President was Noël Mamère. He received 5.25% of the vote in the first round of voting.


Les Verts have entered an alliance with the French Socialist Party from 1997 to 2002.


René Dumont is considered to be the forefather of Les Verts.
