Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (often simply Freshfields) is a "Magic Circle" law firm based in the Fleet Street area of the City of London, England. The firm has 515 partners and principal consultants, and 2,463 lawyers, in 28 offices throughout Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East. The London branch was established as long ago as 1743, and today is easily the largest in the firm with 181 partners. Dubai is the newest location, having opened in 2005 with one partner and three other lawyers. Sizeable offices also exist in Frankfurt (59 partners), Paris (39), Düsseldorf (32), Cologne (22), and Hamburg (20).
