From Under the Cork Tree is the third full-length album from Fall Out Boy and their major label debut on Island Records. It was released on May 3, 2005 (see 2005 in music). The title is taken from a line in the book The Story of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf.[1][2] The album cover features a van with a trailer in a slump of snow. This is a reference to their car accident they took place in while on the way to New York to film the video for "Grand Theft Autumn/Where Is Your Boy" from their album Take This to Your Grave.
