In 1991, Fuji Xerox introduced the tag-line "The Document Company" which became incorporated into its logo in 1995. This is feature of the logo to this day, although Xerox Corporation discontinued its use in 2004. Xerox Corporation transferred its China/Hong Kong Operations to Fuji Xerox in 2000 and Fuji Photo Film Co. raised its stake in the venture to 75% in 2001. In 2004, the company employed 36,000 people.
