The park contains several buildings from the old Foundry making the park a famous Archeological Industrial Site in Mexico. The park also contains extensive walking tracks, an artificial lake, playgrounds for children and a 2.104 mile permanent road course which is very popular with joggers, bicyclists and inline skaters.


Fundidora Park also includes a convention center, a hotel, a museum, a theme park, an arena, an auditorium and other smaller buildings.

Fundidora Park opened its doors in February of 2001 and has been called “Fundidora Park Industrial Archeology Place Museum” because it includes buildings and structures that are part of the history of the beginning of industrialization in Mexico.
The Park is 114 hectares and is located in the center of the City of Monterrey, and is 200 kilometers from the Texas border.
Inside Fundidora Park are the Center of Conventions and Expositions (Cintermex), Thematic Park (Plaza Sesamo), two five-star hotels, the Fundidora Auditorium (for the international artists presentation), three museums (Center of the Arts) and the Arena Monterrey, which has the capacity for holding 17,000 spectators.
