CAROL HIRATA AND THE CARLTON GROUP CONCLUDE FIVE YEARS AS COLORADO STATE DIRECTOR – FUTURE PRODUCTIONS NAMED NEW DIRECTOR
Carol Hirata and The Carlton Group, the producer and director of the Miss Colorado USA and Miss Colorado Teen USA Pageants since 2001, has had a remarkable past five years with the Miss Universe Organization. Recently, Carol announced her well-deserved retirement after serving the pageant system that she supported ever since 2001. Carol, along with five years’ of Colorado titleholders, proudly applaud The Carlton Group and all of the pageant sponsors for their incredible support of the Colorado USA Pageants over the past five years.
In conjunction with Carol’s announcement, Tricia Langa, Director of Domestic Licensing for the Miss Universe Organization L.P., LLLP, announced that Denise Wallace and Craig Heitkamp, and their company, Future Productions, LLC, will continue the tradition that Carol built, by becoming the new directors for the Miss Colorado USA and Miss Colorado Teen USA Pageants. A member of the Miss Universe Organization since 2001, Future Productions is also the producers and directors for the state pageants in Minnesota, South Dakota and Wyoming.
“We are thrilled at the opportunity be a part of this exciting pageant here in Colorado,” says Craig Heitkamp, Executive State Co-Director for Future Productions. “We are extremely honored to be filling the shoes of an outstanding director such as Carol Hirata, and are humbled by the invitation from the Miss Universe Organization to produce the Colorado pageants. We look forward to many years of service to the state of Colorado and the Miss Colorado USA and Teen USA Pageants.”
Dates and locations for this year’s pageants are currently being scheduled by Future Productions and will be released in the following months.
