Georgetown University Student Investment Fund (GUSIF) is a professional money managing fund, which serves two clients: Georgetown University and the Georgetown University Alumni Association. The Fund currently manages over $260,000 with an initial investment of $100,000 from Georgetown University in 1997, and an additional $100,000 from the Alumni Association in 2000. Since its inception on March 21, 1997, GUSIF has been completely student-run by undergraduate students in all four undergraduate schools of the University, with the goal of effectively managing these two accounts while providing an educational resource to Georgetown University undergraduates.
