Biography
Soto's childhood was affected with some unfortunate events: His mother committed suicide and his father Francisco Soto Borja Anda, has been involved in several illicit business. Growing up, Soto went to Edron Academy, hoping someday to study at Harvard University. After finishing up at Edron, Soto received a chance to study economic at Harvard. Soto though, changed his mind on economics and decided to dedicate himself to modeling. While modeling, he worked for the top names such as Hugo Boss, Armani, Tommy Hilfiger, Versace, and many others. After the telenovela ended, Soto received a chance to be on of the members of the boy band Kairo. He replaced original member, Eduardo Verástegui, who wanted to focus on his acting career. While the two other original members, Jean Paul Forat Morales and Francisco Carlos Zorrilla González were replaced by ex-Tierra Cero group member, Paulo César Quevedo de la Vega and Roberto Assad Martínez respectively. This made the group Kairo completely new because all the original members were replaced. The Kairo group with Soto released the album Pasiones in 1998.
