One of Gaerwen's windmills Gaerwen is a village on the island of Anglesey, north Wales. It is located in the south of the island 4 miles west of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll and just a few hundred metres south of the A55. The village is probably most famous however for housing the southernmost station of the Anglesey Central Railway which was in use between 1864 and 1993.
