GFG Parlement Buildings on Fifth Jerusalem
The Galaxy Federation Government (GFG) is the body that governs a huge portion of the universe (around half a million planets according to the U.M.N. database.) The GFG acts as an over-reaching government system, allowing each individual planet to retain its own government as well. Its planetary capital is Fifth Jerusalem. The Galaxy Federation's governing body is the Galaxy Federation assembly which is comprised of Representatives from nearly half a million autonomous states. The assembly hall is located on the capital planet, however many Representatives choose to participate via the FTLU.M.N. connection. A conference of the highest level to determine the course of the Federation is referred to as the Executive Committee or Executive Committee assembly. The highest position in the Galaxy Federation Government is the Executive Committee Director. This person must be elected by a majority vote by the entire GFG. This position was held by Vector Industries CEO, Wilhelm, until several years ago. A reference from the PS2 game series Xenosaga. U.M.N. The federation was forged by the N’rog as a way to obtain strength and more protection. They see the federation in some ways as a N’rog hatchling and have the same protection and feelings of responsibility both towards and expectations from them.
The federation was founded [instert number of years] ago by the N’rog. By charter the Federation is overseen by the President, who is chosen by an elders council of the N’rog, with confirmation by the federation council.
Federation bases or space stations to be added to a member’s sphere of influence require their permission except in cases of the good or protection of the federation as a whole.
