The GFG acts as an over-reaching government system, allowing each individual planet to retain its own government as well. Its planetary capital is Fifth Jerusalem. The Galaxy Federation's governing body is the Galaxy Federation assembly which is comprised of Representatives from nearly half a million autonomous states. The assembly hall is located on the capital planet, however many Representatives choose to participate via the FTLU.M.N. connection. A conference of the highest level to determine the course of the Federation is referred to as the Executive Committee or Executive Committee assembly. The highest position in the Galaxy Federation Government is the Executive Committee Director. This person must be elected by a majority vote by the entire GFG.
