I had a hard time getting anywhere in the game and was almost ready to give up in frustration when one of my contacts from the contest pointed me to Warcry's PK site with a detailed database of items, units, emblems, and materials.
Most of the 3-D games fit into the latter category; those that I've seen usually are grainy and choppy, and today in the days of the superior 3-D graphics of console and PC games, it's hard to go back (especially when you see some of the awesome 3-D stuff on Sony's new PSP).
