Gannavaram Airport is a mid sized domestic airport,longest runway is 6,000 feet in length, at an elevation of 82 feet, serving Vijayawada.Currently flights run twice a day from here to Hyderabad. Due to increase in air traffic to this region Airport Authority of India recently decided to develop, make infrastructural changes to this air port.
