Gardariki (compare Icl. Garšarķki or Garšaveldi, Sw. Gårdarike), term used in medivael times for Little Russia and Great Russia. Also the short name Gardarna refers to the same country. "Gardar", or in En. garden?, means larger towns and trading ports.
