The Gare de Lyon is a major railway station in Paris, France. It is named after the city of Lyon, the final destination of many of the long-distance trains departing from its platforms. In principle the station's SNCF services run to the south and east of France. The station also hosts regional trains and RER. It is served by the Gare de Lyon metro station.
