GareduNord is one of the six large terminus stations of the SNCF's main line network in Paris.
The first GareduNord was built by Bridge and Roadway engineers on the behalf of the Chemins de fer duNord company, which was notably managed by Lonce Reynaud, professor of architecture at the cole Polytechnique.
There is a further construction project to build a correspondence hallway between GareduNord and Gare de l'Est, which is projected to open around the time when the new TGV East begins serving the station.
Mostly, I have arrived at the GareduNord by métro.
Today in the RER somewhere deep under the Gare de Lyon, the choices are complicated by the construction barriers still in place for the new métro line 14, which starts its runs tomorrow.
The GareduNord piece was called 'No Rain, No Fog and No Inspector Maigret' and the Gare be Lyon was sort of outlined in 'The Gare de Lyon's 'Le Train Bleu'.'
