Biography

Garrett Tierney is currently the bassist for Brand New. Garrett was born on October 31, 1980, and has a twin brother named Shaun. Before joining Brand New, Garrett in the late 1990s was in another band called The Rookie Lot with other Brand New band members such as Jesse Lacey, and Brian Lane. Garrett's former band was Post-Hardcore and largely influenced by the group Lifetime. In his spare time, Garrett is also known to go on makeoutclub.com, filter through all of the best looking girls interested in his band, then IM them with the surefire line "Yo". Brand New is a rock band from Merrick, New York. ... Jesse Lacey is the lead singer of the band Brand New. ... Garrett Tierney's discography includes a split EP with The Rookie Lot (1998), the album Your Favourite Weapon with Brand New (2001), the EP Brand New/Safety In Numbers Split EP with Brand New (2002), another EP called The Holiday EP (2003), and an album called Deja Entendu with Brand New (2003). It is also said that during the first two days of recording Brand New's second album Deja Entendu, Garrett's car was stolen. After recording their debut album Your Favorite Weapon in 2001, Long Island band Brand New teamed up with their then labelmate Safety In Numbers for a split E.P.
