Garrett Tierney is currently the bassist for Brand New. Garrett was born on October 31, 1980, and has a twin brother named Shaun. Before joining Brand New, Garrett in the late 1990s was in another band called The Rookie Lot with other Brand New band members such as Jesse Lacey, and Brian Lane. Garrett's former band was Post-Hardcore and largely influenced by the group Lifetime.
