Biography

Born on 9th July 1979, Malaysia, Gary Chaw (Cao Ge) got a promising start when he won Hong Kong TVB's new comer singer award in 2006 and since then has released 2 albums, the latest titled "Superman".

He received his early education in Canada. He went on to continue his studies at Auckland University, New Zealand when he was 16.

He worked hard to get his music recognized and even got rejected along the way because music producers and companies thought his music quality was not good enough and some even commented on the way he looks and said that his looks wouldn't make him successful.

It is learnt that he struggled a lot like many other famous singers before becoming popular with his mandarin version of "Superwoman" by Karyn White. Cao wrote some chart-topping songs in Taiwan sung by S.H.E, Cyndi Wang, and Aaron Kwok. Superwoman was the second single from R&B singer Karyn Whites self-titled debut album. ...
