Gary Douglas Hardgrave (born 5 January1960), Australian politician, has been a Liberal member of the Australian House of Representatives since March 1996, representing the Division of Moreton, Queensland. He was born in Sydney, New South Wales, and was educated at Griffith University, Queensland. In the 1980s he began his career as a broadcaster, co-hosting the Australian children's television show Wombat. He continued radio and television broadcasting, and worked as a media adviser to Liberal politicians, before entering politics. GARYHARDGRAVE: It's very sad that Mr Perrett is so programmed by the Labor Party that he's ignoring the fact that a single income couple with two children, one of whom is aged under five, earning $30,000 a year, is $208 worse off under Labor.
GARYHARDGRAVE: If there's an undecided factor out there, it's probably based more on the sort of deliberate confusion Labor's trying to create, to create some advantage for themselves.
