Gary Helms - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (385 words)
Gary Helms (born March 4, 1965) is an American kickboxer from Houston, Texas, who was given the nickname "Hitman" because of his pin-point accuracy, speed, and mobster style hat or cowboy hat he would wear into the ring.
Helms's grandfather, James Helms, was a World War II veteran who had won a Bronze Star and Purple Heart as well as a Presidential Unit Citation (US).
Helms was devastated by his first defeat, but did not give up on his dream.
