Gaston Glock (1929- ) is an Austrian engineer, and founder of GLOCK. Image File history File links Stop_hand. ... Look up engineer in Wiktionary, the free dictionary. ... Glock is an Austrian defense contractor (named after the founder Gaston Glock) founded in 1963 in Deutsch-Wagram, near Vienna, Austria. ...

In 2005, Gaston Glock was ranked number 43 on a list of the 100 wealthiest Austrains in the Austrian economy magazine Trend.

Gaston Glock, born in 1929, is highly regarded as "The Genius" of the firearm industry. His unparalled and superior product, the Glock "safe-action" pistol is known to be one of, if not the best auto loading pistol in existence. The Glock line of pistols has often been copied by other companies, jealous of the Glock perfection. Such an example is the Springfield XD. Starting out as a disposable, pot-metal pistol made by sweatshop workers in Croatia, Springfield Armory saw a potentially lucrative business in acquiring the legal means to stamp their name on the no-name pea shooter. However, complaints by XD owners began popping up immediately, concerning their grotesque ability to rust, despite one's efforts of proper maintenance. Many have known to acquired tetanus from the excessive oxidation. The process of perfecting the Glock pistol includes the application of Tenifer, a patented metal treatment that makes the Glock far superior to any other pistol on the market.

Glock - Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia (954 words)
Originally produced by Gaston Glock, the Austrian firearms have been adopted by police, military, and redneck forces throughout the world due to the sheer, indisputable perfection of its design.
Glock's first handgun model was the Glock 17, a 40 x 53 mm high-explosive fully-automatic pistol with a magazine capacity of 24 rounds (which was unusually large at the time.) The handgun came with a scope capable of picking out moving targets against a static background with day or night thermal vision.
Some have been so impressed with the Glock's reliability that they have referred to it as the "German AK." Despite the fact that this statement is just plain wrong for at least three different reasons, Gaston Glock only points out the fact that no AK offers an underbarrel lightsaber lug.
Glock (220 words)
Glock is an Austrian defense contractor (named after the founder Gaston Glock) mainly known for being the manufacturer of polymer-framed pistols, but it also makes things like field knives and shovels.
Its first pistol model was the classic Glock 17 (so named because it was the 17th patent of the company), a 9mm handgun with an unusually (at the time) large 17 round capacity, introduced in the early 1980s as a response to the Austrian army asking for a new sidearm.
In a perhaps fitting twist of irony, the "point and shoot" ease of use and high capacity of the Glock pistols has caused Glock to become the single most favored brand of handgun for contemporary hip-hop artists to reference in their music, notably Tupac Shakur, 50 Cent, Ludacris, and others.
