Biological characteristics

Gastrodon is based on a sea slug. It, along with its previous form, Shellos, exists in two forms found in different parts of Sinnoh. Western Gastrodon have bovine-like horns with saurian ridges on their backs, while eastern Gastrodon have backward-pointing horns and lacy back ridges. Gastrodon, like its pre-evolution, is an example of allopatric speciation.
