The Gauss Tower is an observation tower built of reinforced concrete on the summit of the High Hagens in Dransfeld. The site of the tower can be reached directly by car. In it is a managed panorama restaurant with prospect possibility. The name of the tower refers to Carl Friedrich Gauss, who made the large triangle from the Hohen Hagen break into Inselsberg a basis of its land surveying of the Kingdom of Hanover.
