Geber is a lunar impact crater that is located in the rugged south-central highlands of the Moon. It is named after the great muslim alchemist and scientist Jabir Ibn Hayyan. It lies half way between Almanon crater to the north-northeast and the Azophi-Abenezra crater pair to the south-southwest. Further to the southeast is the Sacrobosco crater. Selenographic coordinates are used to refer to locations on the surface of Earths moon. ... The rim of Geber crater is symmetrical and nearly circular, with only minor indentations at the north and south faces of the wall. The floor is flat and lacks a significant central peak at the mid-point. The small satellite crater 'Geber B' is attached to the northwest rim.

Albategnius crater (149 words)
This is an ancient lunar impact crater located in the central highlands.
Albategnius is located to the south of the Hipparchus crater and to the east of Ptolemaeus and Alphonsus craters.
The Albategnius crater is believed to have been featured prominently in an early sketch drawing by Galileo in his book Sidereus Nuncius published in 1610.
