Geills McCrae Kilgour Turner (born December 23, 1937) is the wife of John Napier Turner, a former Prime Minister of Canada. They have four children: one daughter and three sons.


Geills Turner is the niece of soldier and poet John McCrae, and the sister of Alberta Member of Parliament David Kilgour.

The Right Honourable John Napier Turner (born June 7, 1929) was the seventeenth Prime Minister of Canada from June 30, 1984 to September 17, 1984.
He practiced law in Toronto, Ontario and was elected as a member of Parliament in 1962 and served in the Cabinet until his leaving political life in 1976.
On the resignation of Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau in 1984, John Turner re-entered politics and was elected leader of his party and Prime Minister of Canada.
