Genesee is a town located in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 7,284.

The racial makeup of the town is 98.31% White, 0.19% African American, 0.27% Native American, 0.29% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 0.43% from other races, and 0.47% from two or more races. 1.78% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
