Geochang (거창군, 居昌郡, reside.bright.county) is a county in Gyeongsangnam-do, that is situated roughly one hour west of Daegu.
To the east is the county of Goryeong in Gyeongsangbuk-do, to the north in Gyeongsangbuk-do as well is the city of Gimcheon, to the south are the cities of Jinju and Sacheon, and to the west is the county of Jangsu in Jeollabuk-do.
