Dr. Georg Feuerstein, or George Feuerstein, (born 1947) is a well-known German-American Indologist, and one of the most important Western authorities on yoga. He is very prolific, having authored over 30 of books on mysticism, yoga, tantra, and Hinduism. He has also translated the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and the Bhagavad Gita.
