Georg Friedrich Ferdinand, Prince of Prussia, (German: Georg Friedrich Ferdinand Prinz von Preußen) (born June 10, 1976 in Bremen) is the current head of the royal house of Prussia and the imperial house of Germany. He succeeded his grandfather, Prince Louis Ferdinand of Prussia to these positions in 1994. He is commonly styled His Royal Highness The Prince of Prussia. He is alternatively styled His Imperial and Royal Highness The Prince of Prussia and is sometimes referred to by the anglicisation of his name, George Frederick. The government of the Federal Republic of Germany does not officially recognise the existence of any princely titles, but does recognise Prinz von Preußen as Georg Friedrich's surname.
