George Gray was born in St. Louis, Missouri but was raised in Tucson, Arizona. A popular comedian and game show host, he got his start in TV game shows by hosting Extreme Gong, an updated version of The Gong Show, on Game Show Network in the mid '90s. However, it was his stint a few years later as the host of the U.S. syndicated version of the TV show Weakest Link when he could be seen on televisions nationwide. He was known for his sarcasm, and for being less harsh and more silly than his British counterpart, Anne Robinson. Let's say George (the contestant on the third day) had won the first game and won the $25K in a shorter time than the $25K winners from the first two days, it would have made a second Winner's Circle trip for him irrelevant.
There was this sea of gray outside the office window that seemed to put everybody in a sluggish mood.
It's a shame it suffered from host problems and a killer timeslot up against "Price." The one thing I noticed is that the show never had an "promotional consideration provided by" card.
