George Palmer Putnam (1814 - 1872) was a U.S. publisher. His son, Herbert Putnam, was a noted librarian who served as Librarian of Congress. George was the grandfather of George Palmer Putnam (below).


George Palmer Putnam (1887 - 1950) was a U.S. publisher. He was grandson of George Palmer Putnam and was married to Amelia Earhart in 1931.
