Recent history


Poitevint was unanimously elected State Chairman in 2003 and was re-elected to another term in 2005.


Linda Herren serves as the National Committeewoman and started her term in 2004.


The Georgia Republican Party over the last four years has changed the political landscape of Georgia. Before November, 2002, the Georgia Republican Party had no seat at the table. In two election cycles, they have captured the Governor's office, both U.S. Senate seats, and the majorities in both the House and Senate.
