Gerd Albrecht (born July 19, 1935) is a Germanconductor. He has held a wide variety of conducting jobs in Germany and Switzerland. In 1993 he was chosen to be principal conductor of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, but was attacked in the Czech press because of his German nationality.
