In the Mahabharata, Ghatotkacha is the son of Bhima and Hidimbi. He is killed by Karna in the great battle. His wife was Nag Kanya - Ahilawati. He fought bravely in the battle of Mahabharat and lost his life. He earned the boon for increasing his bodily size and at the time of death by increasing his size he fell down on force of kauravas. His son Barbareek has great influence in the battle of Mahabharat and later he got the name of Khatushyamji.
