In 1928 he passed ninth grade from Anjuman Islamia High SchooL Jalapur and went to Muslim University, Aligarh for the rest of education. He received his education at the Aligarh Muslim University. He held LLB and M.A. in Urdu literature & Persian and in 1947 completed his Ph.D on Syed Hassan Ghaznavi in 1959 he was awarded D.Litt by Nagpur University, India. Life and Services

He was born in the Jabalpur city of India on September 23, 1912, and died at Hyderabad, Pakistan on September 25, 2005. During his Service life he was appointed as a lecturer at the King Edward College, Amrawati and after migration to Pakistan from India he was appointed in Urdu College, Karachi. Later in his life he also performed the duties of head of the department of Urdu in Sindh University. For his academic services he was honoured with various level of awards. Like wise Presidential award Sitara-i-Imtiaz, Naqoosh award, Iqbal award and Nishan-i-Sipas. Jabalpur is a city in the Madhya Pradesh state of India. ... He has published a large number of Research Papers and still large number of books, translations, compilations, numbering about ninety three. His book on |Iqbal & Quran" was awarded as the best book ever written on this subject and was awarded gold medal by Idara e Adbiat Pakistan.


He was an embodiments of many virtues but there are some which dominate others are Hallmark of his personality. They are:


.Humbleness .Love of the prophet Mohammad .Secrecy of good deeds, like prayers, charity etc. .Respect and love for his disciples, students and colleagues, friends and relatives. .Charity that if you offer by right hand it remains unknown the left hand. .Treatment of Physical and spiritual ailments by prayers (*' Dua)


When he was lecturer Urdu College, Karachi in 1949, he used to come on a bicycle from his residences in PIB Colony to the college. Once the college peon requested for the bicycle. Dr. Sahib gave away the bicycle saying " he comes from far of and deserves more than me, after all PIB colony is closer then where he lives" and started coming on a bus.


There is a Hadith of Muhammad that one who adopts humbleness for the sake of God, God raises him in the eyes of others.


Another Hadith means that when God loves a person, then all angles and and good people on the planet love him. Dr. Sahib personality was the manifestation of these two Hadits. He was walking back after work from his department. A car stopped and the Vice Chancellor requested Dr. Sahib to come in the car. Dr. Sahib said the bus stop is quite near and he can walk down. The Vice Chancellor said do you think it is possible that I ride the car when you are walking. So he joined the Vice Chancellor who dropped Dr.Sahib at his residence in Hyderabad (University is in Jamshoro on the right bank of river Indus while Hyderabd is on the left bank about 15 KM away).


Dr Ghulam Mustafa was also a famous religious and spiritual leader. His students in number include scholar of fame like Ibn-e-Insha, Jameel Jalibi, Aslam Farrukhi, Farman Fatehpuri, Abul Khair Kashfi and Moinuddin Aqeel etc. Ibn-e-Insha (Urdu: ابن انشاء) (b. ...
