Four dolomites of different origin were compared for their ability to convert tar in pyrolysis gas produced from biomass.
Considerable differences that affected their usefulness for gas cleaning were observed, with the Swedish dolomite having the highest activity.
Overall, this project has generated more than two hundred conclusions useful for hot and catalytic gas cleaning or upgrading relevant to biomass gasifiers.
