Glenelg (34°58′S 138°30′E) is a suburb of Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia. It is a popular coastal resort in summer, and cosmopolitan all year round, situated on Holdfast Bay, an inlet from Gulf St. Vincent. The Glenelg population has grown due to the upgrading of the Patawalonga Boat Haven, the development of the Holdfast Shores Marina and apartment buildings.
