Encyclopedia > Godzilla vs Megalon

Godzilla vs Megalon (Gojira Tai Megalon) is a 1973 film. Part of the Toho studio's Godzilla series, it was directed by Jun Fukuda with special effects by Teruyoshi Nakano.

A movie involving aliens, giant robots, and monsters, as well as giant alien space monsters. It is the thirteenth Godzilla film.

This film is considered one of the worst of the series and unfortunately is one of the most widely seen and is one of the reasons for the disrespect of Godzilla in the US. Was one of two Godzilla films on Mystery Science Theater 3000.
