Gomortega nitida (syn. G. keule) is a species of flowering tree native to Chile. It is the sole species of genus Gomortega and family Gomortegaceae. It grows only in a very narrow habitat range in Coastal Central Chile. This species is endangered of extinction due to overharvesting, land use changes from native forests to agriculture and silviculture lands. It produces a yellow edible sweet fruit, harvested for making a kind of marmalade.
