The beach is home to the Anchor Toss Competition, a weightlifting competition, a surfing competition, and a sand castle competition in which Larry and Sandy usually compete in. SpongeBob once entered the weightlifting competition. SpongeBob also took part in the Anchor Toss Competition after he bought inflated muscles to show off. Sandy, however, signed his name on for the competition and SpongeBob's secret was soon exposed once his inflatable muscles burst. Sandy eventually won the anchor toss competition.
