Readmond Township is a township located in Emmet County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 493.

Demographics As of the census2 of 2000, there are 493 people, 198 households, and 149 families residing in the township. The population density is 6.1/km˛ (15.9/mi˛). There are 411 housing units at an average density of 5.1/km˛ (13.3/mi˛). The racial makeup of the township is 93.10% White, 0.20% African American, 1.83% Native American, 0.20% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.20% from other races, and 4.46% from two or more races. 2.84% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 198 households out of which 28.3% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 67.2% are married couples living together, 5.1% have a female householder with no husband present, and 24.7% are non-families. 20.7% of all households are made up of individuals and 3.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.49 and the average family size is 2.85.
