The Good Neighbour Policy is an agreement amongst horse racing jurisdictions that they shall not provide betting on horse racing to residents of other signatory jurisdictions without the permission of that signatory jurisdiction, nor solicit, market nor advertise betting without prior authorisation from that other signatory jurisdiction. Horse-racing is an equestrian sporting activity which has been practiced over the centuries; the chariot races of Roman times were an early example, as was the contest of the steeds of the god Odin and the giant Hrungnir in Norse mythology. ...
