Following work in local government and publishing, GordonScholes began his career in retailing in 1986 as a trainee application programmer with the then Gateway Foodmarkets in Bristol.
During this time Gordon led a number of significant change programmes in a fast-moving, complex and highly competitive food retail environment.
Gordon’s major focus is on the retail sector and the development of business-led IT strategy.
Scholes made his England debut against South Africa in 1997 and went on to win 66 caps, scoring 14 goals.
Since then, Scholes has been hit by an eye problem, which forced him to miss much of last season, but he has returned to the United side this term and has shown glimpses of his best form.
Gordon labelled some agents "scum of the earth" and alleged that millions of pounds had been exchanged in corrupt deals.
